The Rotunda

The gracious Rotunda, ajoining The Bay Hotel, has played host to more than one hundred years of succesfull social and corporate gatherings.

The majestic dome-shaped structure was built in 1904 and hosted the crème de la crème of Victorian society. Today, the building blends the architectural splendour of Victorian Cape Town with the latest technological conveniences.

The Rotunda's high-ceilinged expanse provides flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of functions such as product launches, cocktail parties, fashion shows, weddings, barmitzvahs, banquets and dinner dances, as well as being a popular conference and exhibition venue.

Due to the size and capacity of the venue, a minimum of 120 guests will be charged for.

Conference Room

The Conference Room, at The Bay Hotel, is a particularly versatile meeting area, suitable for a small conference or seminar.

The furnishings in the Conference Room are comfortable and functional with a built-in cocktail bar and fireplace to take the chill out of winter occasions.

Boardroom

Boardroom

The Boardroom is ideal should you be looking for a conference venue in Camps Bay. It is furnished with trapezoid-shaped tables that allow for a wide variety of room set-ups.

These can range from small groupings of six for a very comfortable breakfast seminar, to the basic boardroom and U-shape meeting styles.

The boardroom is also suitable for small cocktail functions, intimate breakfasts and lunch functions.

A minimum of 10 guests will be charged for due to size and capacity of the venue.
