Are any of the venues smoking/non-smoking?
The Rotunda can be either smoking or non-smoking as per your request. Smoking is allowed in the passage and in the lobby of The Rotunda. The Rotunda also has an outside deck area with a lovely view of the beach front, where smoking is allowed.
The Conference Room is a non-smoking venue. Smoking is only allowed in hotel's reception or in Sandy B Cocktail Bar.
The Boardroom is a non-smoking venue. Smoking is allowed in the passage, lobby and on the outside deck area of the Rotunda.
Is there ample parking?
Public parking (property of the Municipality of Cape Town) is available at the back of The Rotunda and works on a first come first serve basis.
Public parking is also available all around the hotel (i.e. Victoria Rd.)
Under-cover parking is available in the Promenade Centre adjacent to The Bay Hotel - vehicles are charged per hour and payment is for the individuals own account.
The parking area in the front of the hotel is reserved ONLY for in-house guests.
The Bay Hotel does not take any responsibility to guarantee any parking.
The sports field adjacent to The Bay Hotel is available at an additional charge - this request is subject to the discretion of the Camps Bay Club Manager.
How do I get additional services?
Should you require additional services, we will gladly source and secure the most reliable and experienced service providers at an additional charge.
We can also assist in providing creative ideas with themes, lighting, entertainment, music and effects - we offer the full service to ensure a top class event.
Rotunda draping will be an additional charge - this consists of a fairy light chandelier hanging from the centre of the dome with 14 white swags (encased with fairy lights) - ask your sales coordinator.
Do you cater for Kosher/Halaal functions?
Yes we do! ....however, The catering will need to be arranged by you. The caterer would need to make an appointment with us prior to the function in order to finalise all details pertaining the use of our kitchen and the set-up of the venue. Our waiters are hired for the serving of guests in the venue and are not allocated to help with the preparation of food or serving in the kitchen (one Bay banqueting chef and one cleaner will be allocated to assist in the kitchen).

Are there any clean up charges?
Due to the difficulty in cleaning procedures, the following decorations have a specified cleaning up charge:

Anything else than the above mentioned, will be charged to the main account to the discretion of the Banqueting Manager. The customer shall also be liable to all damages to the venues, operating stock and equipment.
