Beach Ceremonies

If you've always considered yourself a beach bum, you can now kick off your shoes and smell the ocean. Camps Bay's beaches have become world renowned for their beauty and popularity, and the vision of a beach ceremony is certainly romantic.

However, being exposed to the beach's extreme elements is always an important factor to consider, and an indoor backup venue is certainly an essential part of your planning. One of the most important things to consider is how the weather will affect the event. Certain times of year may be especially hot, windy, or stormy on some beaches. Having a morning or evening wedding will take the edge off of steamy weather. You should also be aware of the tide, since high tide may strongly affect certain beaches.

Another part of planning a beach ceremony is considering all of the beach rules and regulations, and that permits may be lengthy to acquire. Other factors include practicalities like bathrooms, artificial floor for chairs, and the bite of the strong South African sun!

If you only have a handful of carefully selected loved ones to share this special occasion with (up to 8 family and friends), this package will suit your needs. You have a choice of venues from the intimate Conference Room, or jovial atmosphere of Sandy B cocktail bar, or even a special garden wedding at Camps Bay Retreat. Inclusive of this package is accommodation (subject to availability), spa treatments, and a romantic three-course dinner at Tides Restaurant.

Intimate Winter Wedding
